Last summer, a metallic green Rose Chafer beetle landed on my notebook. Its iridescent shell gleamed in the fading sunlight.

This humble creature, Cetonia aurata, became an unexpected mentor in understanding rewilding. Nature's intricacy reveals itself in the smallest details—the shimmering wings of a beetle, the precise path it takes across a surface.
